Privacy Policy
Last updated June 2026
Horde helps groups coordinate genuine, manual engagement on each other's social posts. This policy covers the website and the Chrome extension.
What we store
- Account: your name, email, and a hashed (never plaintext) password.
- Activity: the hordes you belong to, posts you push, drafts you write, and which nudges you've acted on.
- Notifications: if you enable them, a push subscription for your browser or device.
What the extension does
The Horde extension talks only to joinhorde.com. It has no access to and runs no code on LinkedIn, X, Reddit, Product Hunt, or any other site — it cannot read, post, like, vote, or scrape on your behalf. It fetches your pending nudges, shows notifications, and opens posts in a new tab so you engage manually, as yourself. Its one content script runs solely on joinhorde.com to sign you in.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or share your data with third parties.
- We don't track you across other websites.
- We don't automate any action on any social platform.
Data control
Email support@joinhorde.com to access or delete your account and associated data.
